Mildred Coley Saville

Mildred Coley Saville, 77, of Blacksburg, Va., our courageous and beautiful mother passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mother was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roy Saville. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Board, of Beckley, W.Va.; four sons, Michael Viar, of Christiansburg, Va., Danny and daughter-in-law, Donna Viar, of Ivanhoe, Va., David Viar, of Pulaski, Va., and Keith Patterson, of Blacksburg, Va.; grandchildren are Barbara Davis and husband, Chad, and Shane Viar, of Ivanhoe, Va., Brian Board and wife, Alison, of Yorktown, Va., and Michael Board, of Morgantown, W.Va.; great-grandchildren, Chance Davis, Kelsey Davis, Matthew Viar and Shana Viar; and brothers and sisters, are Ruth Holiday, of Dale City, Va., Jesse and Paul Coley, of Wytheville, Va., Annabel Arnold, of Fries, Va., Arlee White and Emily Perez, of Hillsville, Va. Mother gave unconditional love and inspiration. Her example personified those qualities of life which will continue to provide guidance. We will miss you Mom and forever be grateful for your love and sacrifices. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Montgomery Regional Hospital nursing staff, Debbie Coley, Pat Altizer, JoAnn Via, and Hilda Burnett. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Christiansburg. Friends may call anytime after noon on Saturday, November 1, 2008, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
