Cecil Stultz Obituary

Cecil M. Stultz, 81, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, after a long illness. He was a member of Teamsters 171 Retirees Club. He was a truck driver for Mundy, Red Lines, Jones, and retired with A.G. Boone Co. and a United States Army veteran of World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents, Archer M. Stultz and Alice Day Stultz and his wife, Margaret Stultz. Surviving are his daughters and sonsin-law, Ann and Mike Staley, Jayne and Anthony Huffman; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Gail Stultz; grandchildren, Kevin and Greg Staley, Chasity and Tony Huffman, Kim Stultz, and Tammy Dunman; greatgrandchildren, Adam Stultz and Tegan Dunman; brothers and sisters, Warren and Geneva Stultz, Frances Pruitt, Cleatus Stultz, Roy Stultz, Alice and Ken Taylor; special friend and caregiver, Aleen Noel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, with Dr. Ken Scoggins officiating. Interment will be with Military Honors by the D.A.V. Honor Guard at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
