Eleanor Steptoe Obituary

Eleanor Mae (Boo) Steptoe, 73, of Bedford, died Friday, November 7, 2008, at her residence. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Karen M. Steptoe (Ronald); one son, Gary W. (Sharon) Steptoe, both of Bedford; one grandson, Gary (Sheena) Hill, of Roanoke; two stepgrandchildren, Judy (Kevin) Blake and Felisha Jones, of Bedford; three sisters, Dorothy Carson and Edna Bryant, of Bedford, and Evelyn Floyd, of Washington, D.C.; one aunt, Frances Hicks, of Forest, Va.; three devoted cousins, Inez Jones, of Lynchburg, Va., Thomas Pullen and Maxine Goode, of Bedford, Va.; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at 1 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church, in Bedford. Interment will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, in Bedford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Friends may call on Monday after noon. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
