I'm so sorry to hear of Lanette's passing. When I first started at Catawba Hospital, she struck me as one of the most caring, kindest nurses I'd ever met. She gave so much to others! You all will be in my prayers.

I just wanted to offer my condolences to the family. Lanette and I were in the same Breast Cancer Support Group for some time and she was always such a joy and an inspiration to me. I will miss her sweet smile and sweet ways.

Dear Chuck,
My Heart goes out to you and "The Girls," This took me by Surprise. Just a few months ago we were setting at K&W eating ameal together.
I worked with her for several years at "Catawaba." She was always there for her staff, and would keep us in a laughing spirit all day long.
No one could know what you are going through at this present time. All we can do is "Pray for your Family." Lanette will always be with you no matter were you go.
Peace be with you.

It breaks my heart to read of your mom's passing. I am so sorry and I am going to pray specifically for God to wrap his arms of comfort around you at this difficult time. What wonderful hope and comfort we have to know that the grave is not the end.

I am so happy that Lanette was a part of my life for many years. She brought lots of joy and laughter into the shop when she would come in and get her hair done. I know she will suffer no more and now is in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I will miss her greatly and I'm praying for the whole family and if there is anything I can do let me know. Love to all of you!

Tho' the years at LGH were so long ago..I still had many updates of her and family thru' Mary Etta. I know sorrow is mutiplied as Lanette fought this battle so bravely. The Lord has conquered death for us,yet he understands the void we feel in our heart and lives when he takes one home. The scripture says face to face with the Lord --what a blessed hope he has given. I recall Lanette as a beautiful young lady at LGH.
