I worked with Ed many years at the railroad. Partied together at times and played chess. I have fond memories of those times. I am very sorry for your loss and sad to hear of Ed's passing..

So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences go out to Eddie's family. Eddie and I were classmates and graduated together at CSHS in 1968. What a guy.

Ellen and Lori and family I am sorry to hear of Eddie Lee's passing. Eddie Lee that's what we called him in the Brandywine days. I think of you all often and all the fun we had playing Barbies and shopping and the sleep outs in your back yard. We have good times to remember always. God bless, love "Peedeela" as Lori pronounced my name in her younger days!

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Ellen and Lori,
Through the years I have never once thought of you all other than family. I still see Lori , barely able to see over the sill, watching from the front window as Ellen and I and as many as we could cram into a car, drove out of the drive and into teenage runs up and and down Brambleton(no seat belts, that would have limited our numbers). I remember Ed Lee lumbering up the steps, so like his dad, easy going, grinning like his dad and sister, talking softly and saying "ya'll have fun!" and giving a small laugh. Memories of a family I have grown to love. This is how I still saw him a few months back, lumbering up the stairs, with his hands in his pocket, laughing softly at a corny joke of mine and smiling and saying "ya'll come back". I will miss Ed Lee and always remember the gentle and kind person I knew him as...and the best thing about Ed Lee was he was the only other person that had a better Roanoke accent than me! blessings and love, teri and family

Ellen Sue and Lori - I am so sorry to learn of Eddie Lee's death. I remember like yesterday my years on Brandywine living next door to you guys. Much has changed since those days, but the memories are truly wonderful. Our paths have gone in different directions but I want you to know I am truly sorry for your loss and you two will be in my prayers. Take Care.

Ellen and Lori
I am so sorry about the passing of Ed Lee. All 3 of you are more my brother and sisters than cousins for obvious reasons. It breaks my heart that he is gone and I miss him and I will never forget him.
Love Angelyn
