Shelby,
I read about Doodle's passing in the paper and am so sorry to hear about it. I know he fought a courageous fight. I know you will miss him terribly. I am sorry I could not come to the viewing or funeral because of work. Please call me anytime if you need someone to talk to. I know mom loved you both very much. I remember her talking about how you all used to go out on Saturday nights when you were young.

I got to share several years with the family. I thought the world of him he was not just a friend but a father to me for several years. I loved him like my own father and he will be missed in my heart very much. But I am look forward to the day I get to see him again in our heavenly home. He is not suffering any more.
