Dear Greene Family & Friends, somehow this email notification managed to find its way into the spam folder. I am sorry to hear of Hiltons passing. We were classmates and friends during high school. I have often wondered how and what he has been doing. After graduation, it seems you allow life to flow in the paths of least resistance and many friends are lost. Not because you ever forget the friendship, but by allowing things to redirect your energies. Jewels of our childhood memories return as a flood when faced with untimely departure. The treasure remains as we clutch renewed those times to our hearts.
Now is the time to harvest those memories you shared. I trust those good times will enable his life to continue as we pass to our tomorrows assuring his legacy is honored.

Deear Mrs. Painter, Kay and Darrell,
I was so sorry to read about the loss of Hilton. He was such a dear friend in high school. We had so much fun together and that is what I will always remember about about him. He WAS a free spirited soul and one that will be greatly missed.

Hilton and I kept a running conversation going all through our growing-up years at Parry McCluer and in Buena Vista Baptist Church. One joke after another - always teasing, laughing, full of fun - I've thought of him so often through the years, and always with great fondness and affection.

To the Green and Painter family. I was shocked to hear of Hilton's Passing. We were good friends in high school and he always adressed me as old chap. I talked to him just last month. He was in great spirits and looking forward to our 39 high school class reunion. It is hard to believe he will not be there.

I was deeply sadden to learn of Hilton's passing. We were friends from Boy Scouts to church and all through school before going our separate ways after graduation. I have many a fond memory of him that I will always cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with your families in the days ahead as they too recall the fond memories of Hilton.
