Lorraine Noell Obituary

Lorraine Foster (Renie) Noell, 87, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, Bertis and Fannie Foster; brother, Bertis L. Foster Jr. and sister, Judith F. Overfelt. Mrs. Noell was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Robert L. "Bob" Noell; son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. Noell Jr. and Vickie Noell; daughter, Beverly N. Kelly; grandchildren, Trey Noell, Amber Kelly, Meghan Fox and husband, Dave, and Casey Templeton and wife, Ashley; greatgrandchildren, Riley and Dylan Fox; sisters, Evelyn Dudley and Ruth McNutt; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11537, Alexandria, Va. 22312 or Huntington Court United Methodist Church (God's Update '08), P.O. Box 5066, Roanoke, Va. 24012. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. George Stewart will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2008, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
