Joseph Caserta Obituary

Joseph N. Caserta, 79, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008. Joseph retired from ITT in Roanoke as Senior Operations Engineer and was awarded several patents by ITT for his work in support of night vision goggles and power supplies. He was the dear husband of Angela; dear father of Mary Jo (William D.) Francis and Donna M. (James M.) Caron; grandfather of Neil A. Francis, Phillip J. and Gregory M. Caron; and is also survived by his brother, Anthony J. Caserta; and sister, Theresa Burdic. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Staff at Woodhaven Nursing Home for the loving care given to Joseph. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008, in the chapel of St. Andrews Catholic Church with Msgr. Thomas Miller officiating. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3825-A Electric Road, S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24018 or The Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, N.Y. 10018. Arrangements by Oakey's East Chapel and Crematory, 540-977-3909.
