Arlana Janelle (Lana) Bagby, 18, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2008, at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home, 540-345-9100.

It was a total shock to learn of Arlana's passing. She was a beautifully spirited young woman and there are no words to describe the sorrow of her passing for all who knew her. Please know, Arlana, that you made my life sweeter by knowing you, if only for a short while.

Bethany and girls,
We are very sorry to hear about Arlana's passing. We have been praying for you and still remember fondly our times together with you all. Like when we watched a football game at Fuddrucker's and hanging out in the tent at camp Alta Mons. Keep the faith! Our Father's house has many rooms and we will all be reunited there one day.

Hey girl, Its been forever since we talked... It seems like just yestarday we were hanging out in middle school walking down the hallways. Ialso can remember the night we spent together on NEW YEARS EVE 5 years ago, we had sooo much fun. It was just the other day that arlana and i were talking on the phone. I want to send my condolences to the family. Arlana was a wonderful person to be around and always put a smile on her face. I will greatly miss her along with many i am sure.

Chris and Family - Bethany and Family I am so very sorry for your loss. I was so shocked and heartbroken to read of Arlana's passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen Arlana I still remember her as a beautiful little 4 year old from when she attended Dayschool and also when she was attending Stewartsville Elementary. Arlana was a child that touched you deep within your heart, she had a personality that drew you to her. I pray that you will find peace in your memories of Arlana and knowing that God choose her to do a greater work in heaven than here on earth.

Lana was a beautiful young women. God allowed us to cross paths in Pulaski, VA, where I spent many days with her as her teacher and most of all, her friend. She will be missed by all of her classmates and friends where she attended school. My prayers are with her family at this difficult time. God Bless. Ms. Haupt
