Mary Lee Keitel, 79, of Elk Creek, Va., passed away November 19, 2008, at Carrington Place, Wytheville, Va. She was born October 22, 1929, at Perry Point, Md., to the late Joseph Forrest and Ona Cornett Poole Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Keitel, of the home; daughter and son-inlaw, Charleen and Chip Turner, of Annapolis, Md.; son and daughter-in-law, Blaine and Susan Keitel, of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Jeanette Poole, of Flatridge, Va.; a grandson, Justin D. Turner, of Gaithersburg, Md. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, Va. The Rev. Bill Shupe and Mr. Harold Wingate officiating. Interment to follow at Central Cemetery, Flatridge, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
