Marilyn, we miss you VERY MUCH, but we couldn't begin to wish you back. Once, you and I talked about shopping for some "pretty shoes", I am sure that the slippers on your feet now are studded with jewels as you now dance happily with the angels. Thank you for being a friend.
Until we are together again..

I am so very blessed that Marilyn found me worthy of her friendship and love. I miss her more than I will ever be able to fully express. I know that she considered herself blessed to have found George and to spend her life by his side. Their love will not end and that is a wounderful legacy for both. Rest peacefully dear friend.

It was a pleasure to have known Marilyn and ejoyed her company when we spent time in Florida. She was warm and personable and we know what a blessing she was in your life.

George,
Marilyn was--and still is--a wonderful part of our family! We wish you a time of peace as you move from the pain of her passing to that of celebrating her life! She embraced life and is an example of strength in the face of challenging odds! We give thanks for her! From All the Johnson-Langley-Claxton clan!

George, Glenn and Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss of an incredible lady, who loved all of her children, related by blood or not.
Knowing Marilyn was a gift, she loved us all, even with our imperfections. What a gift she was in our lives...

For all of us who were fortunate enough to have known and loved Marilyn, we were blessed.
She fought the good fight, never faltering from the path that drove her forward every day of her life on earth.
Through all her pain, she was a fighter...she never gave up. I know in my heart if she could speak to us right now, she would say "Don't grieve for me, as I am at peace now, and free from pain. Cherish what you have on earth... for our time here is so short, and trust we will meet again in a better place in time."
She was inspirational to many. A hero of all hero's, something few of us will be remembered for. She was my "Hero"
Her love and life were a testimony of who she really was. A kind and gentle spirit on earth..who now dwells in a peaceful place.
Remember her when you feel the gentle wind on your face, It will be her blowing us kisses. When birds sing it will be her song to us. When it rains.. remember the drops are not tears she sheds from pain any longer....And always remember the roses on the hill, for when they bloom, they will remind us of the beautiful person she really was.
Lest we never forget the love she left behind for us...for that is what she would surely want us to feel.
My love and prayers are steadfast and will remain always with George and his family now, a family which I was so graciously "adopted" into..and for that I am forever grateful....
"My love for Marilyn will always go on and I will miss her with all my heart."
I Love You Marilyn!
