I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have many fond childhood memories of our visits to my Uncle's and Aunt's farm in Sedalia. I remember a lot of State Fair exhibits and the times that John and his brothers & sisters visited us at our house at the lake. I certainly remember his kind letter to my mom when my dad passed away & how much it meant to her. In times such as these it is a very sad thing to lose such a wonderful & kind person. Seems we need souls such as John even more here on Earth. But he has been received by such wonderful souls as his dad, and his aunts and uncles and he is at peace with no more suffering. May it comfort you to know he is part of many warm, happy memories. May God be with you as you heal.

I want you to know how much I appreciate everything you and John did for me while I was at school, and that I know John's beautiful heart is resting happily in Heaven. He was a model Christian and always put others before himself, and truly inspired me.

So sorry for your loss.
I only knew John thru work. He had such a love for what he did, that he had an enviable reputation.
I first met John about 20 years ago. When we talked about our families, I always heard love and pride for his family from him.

What an awesome celebration of John's life of faith on Monday. I was blessed to attend with my other brothers in Christ from the Monday Morning Bible Study Group and would consider it my "closest to Christ moment" for this week. A special blessing came from Terry sharing his and Dan's close relationships with John, their view of John's interactions with others, and Dan's reading of John's poem. The depth of John's relationship with his own Heavenly Father was so readily apparent. May the memories of the special love that only you two shared bring much joy in the midst of your current sorrow as you work through this very difficult season of grief. In Christ,
John Cundiff

We were extremely sorry to read of your loss of John. Please be assured of our deepest sympathy and prayers during this time of bereavement. The adjustment to the loss of a beloved husband will be hard, and we shall be thinking of you.
My memory slips back to the early seventies, when we were just starting Preston Frorest, and John was establishing his company. It was a good partnership, and John was most helpful and we began the development. His advice and work were outstanding, and made Randy's job much easier as our project manager. Again , my sincere sympathy, and please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Dear Cheryl,
You and John were so wonderful with our nephews. You treated them like your own children. I'm sure Antonio has told you about "the basement". We often laugh about that. Thank you for all that you did for them (and for Paul!).
I'm so sorrry that John had to suffer from cancer and die at such a young age. Life is definitely a mystery to be lived...
Our prayers will be with you...

Cheryl~
We were so sorry to hear of John's passing- He's always been so good and so wiling to meet with us right away...no matter how busy he was. He was an enthusiastic man...he loved what he did and was always willing to get his hands(for that matter...his whole outfit) dirty, climbing down into the trenches! We'll think of him fondly- the walks we had over possible septic fields, the "teaching" he'd give in his explanations and his energy. He always seemed to cherish you, Cheryl- he spoke very lovingly of you. We know you'll miss him... but we know he's still right here with you in spirit & love. Fondly,
Pat Tracy

My husband, Bob, and I send our most heartfelt condolences to you all on John's passing. His loss is a terrible blow to the community as well as to your family.
John's reliable judgement and professional skills were important to me as a real estate agent. There were many times when his sound advice meant that my clients could either acheive their dreams in building a house or be saved from costly mistakes.
He was a wonderful man - we will miss him. With great sympathy,
Steve and Janice Huppert

Cheryl, I know that John liked to say that when he hired me that "he got a deal". But I believe I was the one who got the deal. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know you both better over the past 5 years. I feel so blessed to have been able to witness such faith and courage from both you and John. God Bless You

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of need. I don't know what I can say to dampen the pain that you all are feeling, but know that I care for you all as I did for John, and I am thinking about you. It is evident to everyone that knew John, that we have suffered a great loss, the loss of a man who was exceptional not only as a professional; but as a father, a husband, a family member, and as a friend. He has always been good and decent to me as long as I can remember, and I can truthfully say that he was instrumental in shaping the career path that I chose. I will deeply miss him.
