Annie Martin Obituary

Annie Parks Banton Martin, 74, of Boones Mill, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2008. She is preceded in death by her sister, Angie Stamback. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, and love of her life, Herbert Martin; daughter, Ellen Martin; grandchildren, Michelle Leigh Bishop, and Corey Matthew Bishop; sister, Mary Jane Setchel; several nieces and nephews; and her cherished Chihuahuas, Toby and Titan. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Oakey's South Chapel with Mrs. Martin's brotherin-law, the Rev. Leonard Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008, at Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131.
