June McGuire Obituary

June A. McGuire, 81, of Wayzata, Minn., was born December 27, 1926, in Roanoke, Va., and passed away on Monday, December 1, 2008. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian McGuire; and a sister, Admiral Cole. She is Survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Larry McGuire; son, Bill McGuire and wife, Nadine; daughter, Carol McCue and husband, Ken; and grandchildren, Marissa and Chelsea McGuire; Molly McCue. June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and longtime standing member of the Lutheran church. Services and interment were held at Lakewood Chapel and Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn., officiated by Pastor Carrie Scheller. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Medical Foundation, 200 Oak Street, S.E., Suite 300, Minneapolis, Minn. 55455-2030, to benefit research in Alzheimer's disease. Arrangements by David Lee Funeral Home, Wayzata, Minn., 952-473-5577.
