Joyce Christine Bell

Joyce Christine Bell, 76, of Roanoke, Va., was reunited with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 4, 2008. Left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are her three loving children, Rosemary Miller and husband, Donald, David Bell and wife, Joanne, and the Rev. Pam Bell; four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; one brother, Harold Donahue; and two sisters, Barbara Maxie and Madeline Bradbury. She was predeceased in October of 2008, by her loving husband and best friend of 60 years, Ralph Huff Bell; parents, Harry and Mildred Donahue; and grandson, Eric Bell. Joyce loved to cook, make beautiful wedding cakes and many types of crafts. She was a skilled seamstress and gifted with many creative abilities. She and her husband also worked as a team as realtors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, Va. 24018. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2008, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. Claude Carter will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
