Opal McPeak Obituary

Opal Nolen McPeak, 84, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, December 5, 2008. She is survived by two nephews and spouses, L.T. Jr. and Cheryll Simmons, Bobby and Kaye Fest; Lisa and Allen Turner; special friend, Eunice Brightwell; dear little child, Patrick Ferris. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2008, at Gethsemane Baptist Church with the Rev. Ersell Alderman, the Rev. Jerry Gibson and the Rev. Steve Board officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, 190 Depot Street West, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
