Ella Worrell Obituary

Ella Catherine Saferight Worrell, 77, of Hillsville, Va., passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mrs. Worrell was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Worrell. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Odell Dalton, of Amelia, Va.; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Pat Worrell, of Blacksburg, and Robert M. Worrell Jr., of Hillsville; sister, Mary Golden Sandlin, of Monroe, Mich.; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Paul and Dottie Saferight, of Springville, Tenn.; grandchildren and spouse, Kristi and David Taylor, Candace Dalton, and A.J. Worrell; great-grandchildren, Holden Taylor, Robert Clark Taylor, and Charles Dalton Rankin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel with Dr. John Dunstan officiating. Burial will follow in the John P. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 12, 2008, from 7 until 9 p.m. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
