Lynn was a good friend and coworker at DuPont in Martinsville. I first met lynn when I was in his class at work. He and Dollie were special people and Lynn will be missed. The world needs more people like Lynn Henry. The family has my sympathy.

I was Lynn's Pastor in two parishes in Martinsville and Stephens City. He was dear friend who worked tirelessly in the churches and communities in which he lived. To Dollie and family I offer my love and prayers and to God I say thanks for the gift.

Lynn will be remembered as a doer to the highest degree. Whenever asked to be involved with a project, he would ask enough questions to understand the idea and then, help or do it himself. A lover of both the outdoors and computers and gadgets he inspired others to get involved as well as to learn. He was a very good friend and my prayers are with him and his family.

Please convey my sympathy to Dolly Henry and family, following the death of her husband.
To : Dolly Henry
Dear Dolly,
It must be at least 30 some years since we were neighbors on Hazelwood Lane in Martinsvillle. I wondered what happened to you over the years of separation. Were you in Winchester all that time? I'm so glad you and Lynn had such a good long marriage, the LORD does bless his faithful ones.
It will be 60 years for us next June, the LORD willing.
We have been in overseas missions on and off for the past 30 years. Chuck, a gynecologist, worked mostly in 25 mission hospitals around the world.
(although the first 6 or so were in refugee camps). I was assigned to many other odd jobs, such as sanitarian, teacher, general helper, besides nursing and assisting Chuck in surgery or clinics. The LORD is so good to us, and we are grateful for the many opportunities we had to encourage, support and pray for the career missionaries as a witness to the local citizens. We have been 'home' from Africa for 1 1/2 years where we were for the past 8 years.
I doubt if we will receive another call now in our 80's, as our bodies don't seem to respond as they did years ago. Our hearts are still there.
Our 4 'kids' are in their 50's, we have 8 grand children and 3 'greats'. Most are rather close by, but one's in Boston, another in California.
We pray you are still in good health and will be supported by family and friends in your grief. Lynn will be there to greet you when it's your turn to leave this old world for your heavenly home. God is with you, in His love and ours.
