Robert Scott Obituary

Robert Dean (Scotty) Scott, of Chesapeake, passed away on December 12, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lelia Scott. He is survived by his " other half"
, Barbara Scott. They were happily married for 32 years. He is also survived by five daughters and one son, Bonnie and Roger Smith, Kathie and Charles Davenport, Beckie Sill, Robin Kellam and Eric Bennett, Tammie Athern, and Mark Scott; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Charles Scott. He retired from Pet Dairy, Standard Coffee, and worked for 10 years at D&M Seafood. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice. Scotty was a wonderful man with a huge heart. He loved his wife and family and was an avid Nascar fan. He leaves behind a lot of friends and special friends of Bill's.

Bonnie & Family,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. I know what you're going through because of my loss of my father not long ago. You will all ways miss him but you'll all ways have such wonderful memories of him. Keep your faith and lean on HIM and HE will guide you through trouble waters.
