To the family of Art Bush,
My sincere sympathy to you all on your great loss. Art was a true gentleman and very respected businessman. Around twenty-five years ago my mother, Lida Sanders, worked for Art for a number of years. He treated her with the utmost respect and was always helpful if she had any problems. I will always remember him for his kindness and generosity to her. He treated her like one of the family. God bless you all.

My grandparents owed and ran the old Fitzpatrick's Pharmacy in Vinton, Va. My mother was Alice Mitchell. I grew up visiting Jack & Elizabeth Fitzpatrick often & seeing your family pictures on their mantel. I doupt you will recall meeting me but we did run across one another at Elizabeth's house. Although I've been out here in Ca. since 1986, my heart has always stayed in Virginia with family memories. It is esp. difficult as we lose them, one by one. My heart goes out to you all. Thanks to Betty Mayer for notifying me of your loss so I might be able to sign this guest book. Please feel free to contact me...I miss my family connections back there!

I'm a friend of your mother's in Raleigh. I said many times to her that I wished I could meet Art. He was an inspiration, even without me knowing him. I'm sure he will be missed greatly. My deepest sympathy is with you, your family, and Mary Frances.
