Dear Keehne Family,
I want to extend my condolences on Dot's passing. She provided such a warm and wonderful spirit of joy on every occassion and for so many years.
Whether during a youthful day cutting through your driveway or taking sodas from the fridge or encountering at the Chamber, she was a source of great warmth and encouragement. She helped make Laburnum a great place to grow up.
She will be missed but surely remembered with fondness and thankfulness.

It is with much sadness that I write to the Keehne Family today. I will always remember Dot as a member of Martha Lee Smith's Bridge Club, my coworker at the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce and most importantly a very dear friend. Mom and I will keep you all in our prayers and I am honored to have known such a great lady.

To Mr. Keehne, Susan, Sarah and Beth: It is with great sadness that I write this note on hearing that Mrs. Keehne passed away. As you all know she was an integral part of my early years. I have so many fond memories. I hadn't seen her since I worked at Hidden Valley. I've thought about all of you so often over the years and wish that I could be there at this time of sadness. Please know that I share in your sorrow and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With much love, Autumn (Smith) Brown

To The Keehne Family, I am so sorry for your loss of a most beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Keehne was the epitome of a wonderful and classy woman. Many of my happiest childhood memories came from being included in Keehne family events. Please know that I am praying for you and love you all.

I was so sad to hear the news of Dot's passing. I worked with her at the Chamber for 2 years and she was like a grandmother to me -- she was always there to listen and give advice. I'll never forget her putting on her little tennis shoes and sunblock to take her daily walk in the park, or when she was all dressed up in her "Hokie" attire to go to a game. Dot was a very special person and will be missed. She loved her family more than anything in the world and I loved hearing all the stories about the grandchildren. Bill and family - you are in my thoughts and prayers.
