Lois Maybelle Allen Zimmerman

Lois Maybelle Allen Zimmerman, 83, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. C. (Pete) Zimmerman; parents, Pierce and Alice Allen; two sisters and seven brothers. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and son-in-law, Wanda McRoy, Delores and Donald Reinhardt; grandchildren, Michele D. Massey, Tonya Black, Danielle Reinhardt; great-grandchildren, Ocean, Nathaniel, Katie, Karen, and Taylor; loving sisters-inlaw, Iris and Anna Mae; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, January 22, 2009, at Oakey's East Chapel with Chaplain Marvin Barbre officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
