Charles Bishop Obituary

Charles Jackson Bishop, 39, of Hiwassee, Va., passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward "Buster" Jackson Bishop; brother, Eddie Ray Bishop; and his sister, Angela Bishop Huff. Survivors include his wife, Shelia W. Bishop, of Hiwassee; two children, Adam Ryan Bishop and Mikayla Dawn Bishop; his mother, Edith B. Bishop, of Radford; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Burton, of Radford; his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Greg Byrd, of Radford; stepmother, Patricia Bishop; and nieces and nephews, Christopher and Morgan Poe, Ashley and Matthew Scaggs, Derrick Wetzel Jr., and Tyler and Jacob Eades. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2009, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Frankie Graham and the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at the funeral home.
