I had heard Anny speak often of her Aunt Christine over the years and finally had the pleasure of meeting her when she came to Corolla to visit Anny in 2008. She was delightful to talk to and every bit the "grand lady" I had heard so much about. I know she will be missed!

I grew up across the street from Chris and have known her for many years. What a fun, sharp, lovely lady she was. She was devoted to her husband and family and truly loved by her neighbors. Raleigh Court will miss her very much. I am sorry for your loss.

My husband, Mom, and I had the wonderful pleasure of living across the street from Chris for six years. She was one of the first neighbors I meet while renovating our house prior to moving. She daily walked across the street to chat and to check out what I was doing.
My Mom and she spent many wonderful afternoons together remembering the "old" days and gobbling down chocolates.
It breaks my heart to loose both of them within a month. (My Mom was buried on December 27th.)
We loved Chris and will miss her terribly.

I am so glad Annie enabled Aunt Chris to make her last trip to south Texas. I was able to renew my relationship with my wonderful aunt, but more important, our next generation got a chance to know and love her too! What a gift - and a treasure she was.
