Rayme, as I called him, was a great leader. He always had time for me, his younger first cousin. Rayme gave me tips on playing ball, that my own Coaches did not cover as well. Our Fathers were twins, which brought a special connection. May God comfort all.

It was with heartfelf sadness that I learned of Ray's passing. Ray worked for me at Lees Carpet. We spent many hours together laughing and having a lot of fun.
Please accet my sincere sympathy.

I was indeed sorry to hear that Ray had passed on. Ray was my mentor and hero in high school and I owe a lot to him. Being a guy from Hollins Road and being a new guy at Fleming, he always was there for guidance and advice. I appreciate what Ray did for me and others at that young age and all that loved Ray can really be proud of him. He is really a great guy.

Repectfully,

Glenn (Specks) Brown

Sorry to see Ray's obit today. It has been a long time, but we spent a lot of time together while he worked in Nashville. I have often thought about him and wondered what life had brought him. I know the happiness of his family meant a great deal to him, and I know they all will miss him.
May he rest in peace.

To the entire Lucas Family,

We are praying for your family.
Ray will certainly be missed by our
family. Depending on the weather
we will attempt to bring Bob Harvey
to the visitation program provided
the personnel at the rehab center
feel he is up to this. Bob really
will miss Ray. They were good
friends. Dot will miss him very much,
and Ray's children, grandchildren
and great grandchild. We hope to
see all of you sometime this week.
We learned that Bob will be coming
home either next week or the second
week in February. Again, please
know you have our prayers and
thoughts.

Bob, Charlene and Michelle Harvey
(also our four legged ones, Kobi,
Dollie and Mitzie.)
