Dear Michael, David and Linda,
We don't know each other at all, but your Dad was a friend of our parents in Roanoke, years ago. We were sorry to hear about his passing. I wanted to share a funny story with you. Back in the 50's our Dad was buying cars from your Dad. One day he came to our house on Carolina Ave. (in Roanoke), maybe to bring a car, I actually don't remember why. What I do remember is that he could pull quarters from our ears! My brother, sister and I were delighted and thrilled. I can still remember that time in our driveway!! You have our deepest sympathies.

David, I just read about the passing of your father, and I am so very sorry. I remember you talking about him so kindly during the time you were purchasing your home. He sounds like such an interesting man from his obituary. If there is anything at all that I can do for you and Ruth, just let me know. My very deepest sympathy to both of you and your family. Fondly, Sandra Thomas

David and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this tough time. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Remember, he is in Heaven now with Bobby, and I'm sure that makes him happy.
