Carol Saldivar Obituary

Carol Ann Saldivar, 52, of Newport, Va., died Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Red Bank, N.J. on June 15, 1956. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Kostak. She is survived by her mother, Mary Herzog, of Newport, Va.; son, Jonathan Sefcik, of Newport; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leona and Jack Fink, of Ft. Myers, Fla., Rose Kostak, of Newport, Va., Edy and George Heitzenroeder, of Woodbury, N.J.; stepsisters, Della Herzog, of Newport, Va., Candy Abernathy, of Texas, stepbrother, William Herzog, of Newport, Va.; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews; special friend, Tina Grimshaw, of Blacksburg. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, February 6, 2009, at 7 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to family to help with some of the final cost. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
