Audrey Imogene Felix Yarbrough

1926 - 2009

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Audrey Imogene Felix Yarbrough, of Rocky Mount, Va., has gone to be with the Lord to whom she devoted her life. Audrey was born on July 3, 1926, in Goody, Ky. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert M. Yarbrough; her parents, George and Arta Felix; and her many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Shaun Felix Nelms and his wife, Shirley Nelms, of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and her loving friend, Elaine Vestal, who was always there for her. Audrey was retired from C&P Telephone and loved to garden in her retirement. She was also an active member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, Va. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to her church. Shaun and Shirley would like to thank the members of her church, and her friends for the many cards, calls, and well wishes they have shown during Audrey's illness.
