Dear Mrs. Gauldin & Family,
I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Gauldin. My brother & I were both managers at Northlakes Swim club and cared about him very much. He was like a father to both of us, when he showed up at the pool we sat up straight. He was tough but always fair. He had a way of "getting after us" then letting us know he wasn't mad by making us laugh or just putting his hand on our shoulder with a little shake and say " Now you knew better than that didn't you". I have thought of him often and wished I had stayed in touch. He will be remembered fondly and not forgotten.

Dearest Lynne,

I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I have thought of him and your whole family throughout the years which always brings a smile. I hate that we have not kept in touch and would love to change that. You are all in my prayers! Love, Teresa

I remember him as Doyle, the cousin who was just enough older than I for me to look up to him, and as such he was an important part of my childhood. Over the years, I did not see him as much, just an occasional family reunion or funeral, but every now and then a message from him would pop up on my computer, and it would brighten my day. I will never forget his kindness and that very sweet smile. It is good to know that he is free of pain and is with his son and Aunt Effie, Uncle Geoffrey, Dorothy and Madeline, but I know what a huge hole his passing left in your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
With sympathy and prayers,
Christine Gauldin Major

Dear Mrs. Gauldin and family,
Our family was blessed to have known Mr. Gauldin for the past 10 years. When I think of my children growing up, I will remember both of you and our visits to your home. My children love you and think of you as family.
I will miss Mr. Gauldin very much.
I am happy to know he is with our Savior, Jesus. I know he has a special spot in heaven and maybe a even his own computer. I hope your will be comforted by that thought and by your loving children.
We will be checking on you in the coming weeks. Love, Lisa Bess

Jackie, Lois, Carol, & Lynne,

Thank you for giving me the chance to assist with Jimmy's care. He was so easy to love. A good husband, father and friend. He loved you all dearly and you loved him well.

Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, the WPT and NASCAR will never be the same without him. I'll think of him and miss him when they are on and he's not there to explain them to me or to play the games with me.

Jimmy was such a sweet, patient, intelligent man. I'll miss his sense of humor, his smile, and his gentle ways.

You were all blessed to be his life's reason. I'm so sorry for your loss. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
