Sandra Sue, Jimmy, Allen & families,

I have only met your mom and dad once when we visited them with my brothers Douglas and Denton Layman in their home next to the apple orchard. They were both very fine, hospitable people. I believe that we also met some of you although you may not remember. My wife Bettie and I send our heart felt condolence.

Vivian and Ira Layman were the definition of a lady and gentleman. They shared true hospitality. Miss Vivian was always gracious and welcoming. The whole Layman family took us into their family and blessed us with kindness and the love of Christ. Our love and prayers go to the Layman family. Thanks be to God for the beautiful woman Vivian and her 91 years on this earth. She will be missed and remembered fondly. Dan, Cindy, Evan, and Joel

I'm so sorry to hear of Vivian's passing. What a beautiful lady inside and out she was, and always smiling. The Church & Community has certainly lost a gem. I will always remember going caroling at her house only to have her singing to us. Love & Prayers to the family. Brian, Angie & Linsey Baker

Sandra Sue, Jimmy and Allen, I was so surprised to hear about your Mom's passing. I had seen her the night before at the theater and she looked well. I guess the Lord just said it's time. May He hold you all in his arms as you travel through this sad time. She always told Porter he could fix anything. He had a great deal of affection for your parents and sends his regards.
