I only had the priviledge of meeting Opal for the first time about 1 month ago. We spent 3 days in the same hospital room back in January. I loved her as soon as we met. Only a few times in my life have I met someone and our hearts have been instantly knit. She was such a sweetheart and I loved talking with her. We spoke of our families and I think we both realized immediately that we were kindred spirits. I have thought of her often since my hospital stay. I was impressed at what closeness the family shared, always telling each other that they loved one another. My prayers are with the family. I am grateful for God's promise that one day we will be together again.
