Frances Moses Obituary

Frances Louise Moses, 79, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2009. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence W. Moses, Jr.; greatgranddaughter, Kara Nicole Graybeal; six sisters; and two brothers. Frances is survived by two daughters, Frances Ann Cox and Delores G. Moses; four sons, Lawrence W. Moses III and his wife, Karen, Roger L. Moses, Steven L. Moses and his wife, Beverly, and Jerry A. Moses and his wife, Sandra; 22 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009, at Oakey's East Chapel with the Rev. George Stevenson and the Rev. Barry Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's East Chapel.
