Diane and family, I want to send our condolences to you all. I have fond memories of Bob. Bob and dad were more like brothers than cousins. Do you remember the wrestling matches that we used to go to with our dads? I remember once Dad gave his pocket knife to one of the good guys who had been thrown from the ring. Bob and Dad were at ring side, we were in the cheap seats! Also remember Bob hiring George Quam, Pop's brother from Wisconsin and I to paint a house on Buena Vista Blvd in Southeast Roanoke. We used to have a photo of Bob and Dad at Jack Dempsey's bar in New York City--don't know where that ended up? May God bless you all during this time. My email address is [email protected]. Give me a hollar some time. (PS I wrote this once but was not sure it got recorded)
