Eva O'Quinn Obituary

Eva Stanley O'Quinn, 93, formerly of Hillsville, Va., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2009. Mrs. O'Quinn was born in Hillsville, Va., to the late George Wesley and Martha Joanna Beasley Alderman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Maston Scott Stanley and Orville O'Quinn; brothers, Chester Alderman, William Alderman and Drura Alderman; and sisters, Edith Sowers, Lelia Webb, Myrtle Kenny, Velma Utt, and Ethel Sutphin. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Leigh and Clayton Banks, of Memphis, Tenn., and Phyllis J. and Allan Fish, of Franklin, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Scott) and Becky S. Stanley, of Pilot, Va.; grandchildren, Angella Bell, Wesley Banks, Christi Banks, Holli Anglin, Timothy Fish, Sara Campbell, Jeffery Stanley, Rachel Hudson and Chris Spencer; and 21 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Hebron Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:30 until 3:30 prior to the funeral service. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
