Glenna Clements Obituary

Glenna Ruth Clements, 86, of Roanoke, passed away, Saturday, February 28, 2009. She is the widow of Rufus Clements. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Joanne C. Wheeler; her sisters, Emma Graham and Anna Gillespie; her brother, John Rice Jr.; and her grandson, Craig. Surviving are her children, Larry R. Clements, of New Castle, Mary C. Tinsley, of New Castle and Judy C. Whitt, of Roanoke; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; her brothers, Clarence Rice, of Christiansburg, Bill Rice, of Christiansburg and Paul Rice, of Selton, Va.; and her sister, Betty Watson, of Roanoke; and special niece, Robyn. The family will receive friends Monday, March 2, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
