My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. My Dad, P.E. Shorter, was in Carrington Place and they shared good times together there. Just know that he is in a better place. God Bless.

Well, my Uncle Claude has left this world, but his face I can clearly see.
There was that smile he always had when he looked at me.
I guess he could see a little of my own dad in me, as they were cousin's yet more like brother's
I once heard him say.
The memories of many long years since my own dads had passed lingers still today.
So now once more they will meet in heaven and ponder of yester years.
Uncle Claude you've been more than Uncle to me and I'll miss so, but you'll be in a place where there are no fears.
My heart goes out to cousin's Billy,Clifford, and Robert AKA as Chip by his dad, and all their family members.
I love you all very much.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of grief. Mr. Martin was one special gentleman. I'm so glad our paths crossed because my father-in- law George O Meador shared a room with him. We enjoyed his bluegrass music and loved the stories he shared with us. I know he is not in pain now because he's in Heaven having a good time with his family and friends.
God Bless you all.

A gentleman with a very loving and supportive family, that is the Claude Martin I have known and befriended. He was gracious and engaging with great stories and memories to share.

My dear Uncle Claude you were such a blessing to me and our family. Memories that you and sweet Aunt Bessie made will remain in my mind and heart.
I cry tears as I will never see you on this earth again but
I cry tears of joy as you are no longer homesick for Beulah land.
You are happy in the Lords place seeing Aunt Bessie and all the others gone before you.
I pray that God will give comfort to all the ones who share the pain of saying the last goodbye. You are missed.
Give Jesus and all the others a hug for me as I send my love with you.
Thank you from your niece Thelma
