I first met Marlene when she became part of the senior group I managed in Bedford. Right away I saw what a zest for life and fun loving spirit she had. Marlene was always so generous with others. She loved people. One of my most joyful memories of her was when we all went to Smith Mountain Lake for the day and seeing how much she enjoyed herself. My heartfelt sadness is with her husband, Leroy and her children.

Granny was a wonderful lady and the best grandmother anyone could ask for. Rejoice that she is no longer in any pain and walking with the Lord in Heaven. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue to pray for our family.
