To Nanny ... I am so thankful that you were such an enriched part of my life. You made me laugh, you gave me love and happiness, and excepted me as part of your family.

To the family ... my sincerest condolences. I know the loss that you all have. Nanny was often times outspoken, but at least you know where she stood. She was a WONDERFUL person! She was loving, and caring, and that was where her voice came from ... her heart. She loved her family and only wanted the best, and better, for them. I adored her!

I know that her struggles, her tribulations and trials, are now over. She can finally rest, and rest peacefully.

She was blessed with wonderful children. Her grandchilren, great grandchilren, and great great children, and beyond, will carry on a legacy of her courage and tenacity!!

I love you Nanny, and I love your family! Thank you for loving me!

Nanny,
Thanks for all those weekends spent making applebutter, homemade cobblers, fried apple pies, not to mention the wonderful pickles, family gatherings, Christmas Day and so much more. Those years were the best growing up, so thanks for that time. As an adult we spent many weekends together rolling pennies, going through old photos and those stories you shared meant so much then and even more now. I love you and that incredible spirit...miss you always.

You made my childhood very memorable. I have often remembered the week long visits in the summer. I could not have had better grandparents than you and PawPaw. You will be missed, I love you very much. Your oldest grandchild, Dave.
