Candis, Cindie, and Marc, I have only just heard of your father's passage from this life into what must have been a wonderful welcome into Heaven! Besides our Lord And Savior's "well done, my good and faithful servant" he must have heard many cheerful voices who had seen his life of faithful devotion. Behind your mother, I know my father, Lewis Patsel, had to be among the first to welcome his dear friend. May each of you and your family members seek comfort from the Holy Ghost, our Great Comforter sent from the Father and the Son. My prayer is that He will give each of you a keen awareness of his loving Presence with you always.
I was not aware of Morton's Navy heritage; I am married to a former Corpsman, and because I know the cost and commitment that required, my respect and affection for your dad are made even stronger.
The years cannot strip away our memories, and we know the joy of Heaven awaits the faithful!
God keep you all, Ginger

I remember Morton from my childhood. He was about 15 years older than I. He was in the paint contracting business then and his home was about 1/2 mile from me. I distinctly remember his home being painted brown with a sign near the drive proclaiming, "The Brown House". God bless his family and you are in my prayers.

All who knew your Dad have been blessed beyond measure. He had the most profound influence on my life, more than anyone but my own father. He will always be missed and remembered. Numbers 6:22-24

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brown family during the difficult coming days. God's plan will guide each of us and our comfort comes from knowing Uncle Morton is with the Father now. To Mark, Cindie, Candice, Owen: Cheri & I are sorry we can't be with you, but you're in our hearts. God be with you.
