Barb, I don't know if you remember me from Ground Round, but I worked with you there for many years. I was horrified to hear about Karissa and I am so deeply saddened by your loss. I actually frequent Logans and unfortunately never got the chance to meet Karissa when I was there, but I do remember her from when she was probably 10 or 11 from Ground Round. I just heard of karissa passing today.I know I didnt know her very well, but she use to date Eric Agosto and I was his kinda his stepmother my name is Dana Sheldon.I use to live with Mark Graziano.Erics father on mountain ave.in roanoke.The last time I saw karissa she came through Hardees DRIVE THRU IN SEPTEMBER OF 2008. My prayers are for the Epperly Family and Jayden for their lose of one of the most special persons I have ever known. She was a little doll baby, beautiful and oh so sweet. My heart is feeling such pain for Joey, for she was the love of his life. I met Karissa through my daughter Brandy Kandis. And it was a wonderful experience just to know Karissa. She will stay in my heart forever.

I worked with Karissa at Logan's and my sister Alisha and her boyfriend had just gotten back from Busch Gardens a couple of weekends ago. Karissa always had a smile on her face, and was a joy to be around. She could take a negative situation and put a positive spin on it. She was a great inspiration to me throughout my pregnancy. I know that there are no words that can make this time any easier, but remember to cast your burdens upon God. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Although it may seem like the end of the world, remember that God never lays more than we may handle upon us. Be strong and know that there are tons of people out there praying for the family and friends. We will all miss Karissa. Lean on Jesus and trust that he will guide you through this dark time. My heart goes out to Jayden. (The first time I met him was at work when he said he'd help me sweep.) He is a blessed child to have so much love. Keep your spirits up. I know it's hard, but that's what Karissa would want. She'll be smiling down on you. God bless you. Let us know if there is anything we may help with.

Karissa was such a lovely person with that special smile and she is going to be missed by all. She was the love of my son's life and he is having a difficult time dealing with all of this. I didn't know Karissa, but I know her friend Barbara Draper. Karissa died so young suddenly, and that certainly makes her loss so much more difficult for her family and friends. I'm praying for you all.

I did not know Karissa, but clearly she was loved by a lot of people. I'm sure God had a plan for her & whatever it is, it looks like she really made an impression on the people around her. For her to have made such lasting memories she must have touched a lot of people. I feel bad because my husband & I drove by the crash site on Monday morning on our way to work not knowing she was so close to us & we didn't know & couldn't help her. I wish things could have worked out differently for her. She must have been very special. Your family is in our prayers.

Karissa's Family-
I feel so blessed to have met Karissa and to speak with her at the downtown store. Her personality was so accepting of all people and her voice was unique. I am so sorry for Karissa's passing. She was a great friend from the time we strarted school through middle school when i moved away. I was blessed to be able to reunite with her and work together once we were grown. She was such a beautiful person and a loving mother.
