Mary Kingrea Obituary

Mary Louise Kingrea, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center. The widow of the late Joseph M. Kingrea, she was also preceded by sons, James M. Kingrea, Douglas Earl Kingrea and Earl Eugene Kingrea. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Robert L. Embert, Mount Airy, N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Helen Dillard, of Elliston, Va.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and special family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 in the Horne Funeral Chapel, conducted by Pastor Richard Kingrea, with interment in the Huffville Cemetery, Floyd County. The Kingrea family is in the care of Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va. On line condolences may be sent to www.hornefuneralservice.com.
