Dear Brother Danny,
I was so terribly sorry to hear about Joan's passing. She was always such a wonderful person to be around and I know what you are going through right now. It has been just over a year since I lost Nan and I still miss her very much.
Please take comfort in knowing that she certainly is where we all want to be and lean on your Christian brothers and sisters. My Emmaus family and church family have been the only reason I have survived. Remember her for all the good times you had and try very hard to let God have her.
Please call me if you should need to talk any time. I would love to share what it has been like for me and hope that will help you. 540-491-9594.
I love you and feel your pain.

God's blessings on you and your whole family.

Your brother in Christ,
Butch Miller

Danny,
What a shock to hear of Joan's passing. Joan will remain in our memories as the fun loving and energetic "jitter bugger" at the Christmas dances! We have all been blessed to have known her.

Danny and Family,
What a wonderful lady Joan was and I know she will be deeply missed. She always had a smile to give and hug to share. May God grace be with you all and I know Joan joined the choir and is singing sweet praises above us.
