Dearest Betty and family,
We have had you and Larry in our thoughts and prayers many times in the past year or so, knowing what you were going through. Now again we are holding you up to God asking him to give you, and your families the peace and strength at this difficult time.
Our love,
Herman and Lois Hartman

My husband and I are good friends with Larry's daughter Kim and we had the pleasure of meeting Larry and his wife Betty when they graciously opened their home to us while we were visiting in Florida. During our stay we learned a few things about Larry. He had tremendous love for his family and friends and he so enjoyed life. Larry also shared a love of sports and oh how he loved his HOKIES! Larry will be terrilbly missed and we regret that we never had the opportunity for our boccie ball rematch. We love you Kim and we are here for you and your family.
Love,
Tim and Lisa Milliron

I will miss you dad, you are my best friend. I will miss the great talks we would have over VA Tech Football and the great times we had together at the games. I know you are in good hands now and you are my guardian angel looking over me and the girls. I love you will all my heart and hope to see you again someday so I can let you know how those hokies are doing. You make sure you let those people in heaven know what a HOKIE is.....
Love you forever and always,
your daughter,
Kim
