Shirley Roberts Obituary

Mrs. Shirley Ann Wright Roberts, 57, of Mablewood, N.J., and formerly of Franklin County, Va., died on July 1, 2009. She is survived by her husband, David K. Roberts Sr.; two sons, Johnathan Alan Roberts and David K. Roberts Jr., all of Mablewood, N.J.; granddaughter, Danielle Roberts; brothers, Robert Wright, James Wright, Warren Wright, Coleman (Debra) Wright, and Wayne Wright, all of Wirtz, Va.; sisters, Lorraine Thornton, of Raleigh, N.C., Peggy Wright, of Orange, N.J., and Elaine (Joseph) Pierce, of East Orange, N.J.; motherin-law, Margaret Roberts; brother-in-law, Kevin (Lynn) Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at the First Mount Airy Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Coleman Wright officiating. Friends may call at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, from 3 until 7 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Stanfield Mortuary Service, Rocky Mount, Va.
