In loving memories of my wonderful father
James Butler Estes Jr. (Jim)
As I sit here thinking of the memories of my dad I go back to the day that he look at me in the hospital and said Jean will you take me home and take care of me. It was a honor to do that.Dad meant so much to me. I enjoyed every moment I got to spend with him.Daddy did not get out and go places because of his nerves. The last 2 months before he died he enjoyed getting out as long as I was driving his sister car he really enjoyed seeing things if I knew he would got out more I would bought the car sooner. When I bought him home my mother, sister, and I stayed with him he called us the Golden Girls. My sister would ask what me and dad would talk about every morning at 2:00. That was mine and dad time.We would talk, laugh, cry together and prayed. I sometime would think he was going to get better then I would see the look in his eyes. Daddy really enjoyed the last six weeks of his life. His family was there for him.He would call different ones in and tell them things. My father was a caring person he never complained if he hurt or not.I tired to be so strong but when daddy would ask me about some things I would break down.He wanted to make sure mama would be all right. He loved his family.Daddy I miss you so much I know that God needed you.We was so blessed that God did not let you suffer. The evening you went to be with God you open your eyes and took my hand and had a big smile on your face and said THANK YOU I LOVE YOU JEAN that meant so much to me I trying to hold up but I not as strong as I want to me.I miss you I sitting here crying.I know that you are not hurting no more but it hurts to know that I can't pick up the phone and say (daddy) or come down and you want be walking me to my car and talking to me.Daddy thank you for being my daddy
I LOVE YOU
Thank you for trusting me to do the things you ask me to
I will always be your little girl

Growing up with Uncle Jim living on top of the hill was a great time in life. Without him there would have never been my favorite game, Hush mouth. A few years ago i had the chance to visit Uncle Jim with my family ( Brenda, Kayli, and Krystin ) and got to tell him that i love him. God bless Uncle Jim.

Jiimmy was a very nice sweet and special man (great uncle)and one time when we were going up the hill to get to his house he would always give me about 2 or 3 crackers. Im really going to miss the things that he did. When he was at his house sick i would come and see him every day.I stay there for afew hours talking to him and praying for him. All the memerys that we had together i loved him and am still praying for him that God will take good care of him in heaven because he is so special.

Jimmy was one of the best uncles anyone could ever have!!! Jimmy always seem to keep me in line when I was small and he was sooo gentle at it to. My thoughts and Prayers will always be with you. You are like more like my sisters and brothers to me instead of cousins, and I Love you dearly!!!GOD will be with you every step of the way. Jimmy is rejoicing with his Lord and Savior now and that is the best comfort we all can ask for.I will always Love him and miss hearing him calling me SOOZE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!

I was reading some of the suggested entries that this website has; and I noticed a lot that it says May God Bless your family in this time; God definitely bless us with my Papa. He was a Sweet sweet man, and we will miss him. I'm glad that he is living with Jesus, and one day soon I'll get to see him again:)
