Mary Lucille Bacon-Trott

Mary Lucille Bacon-Trott, 91, born in Lanesville, Ind., most recently of Christiansburg, passed away July 2, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Edward Trott; her son, Dwight Bacon; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Gabriel DiGiovanni; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings and their families. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009 at Horne Funeral Home, 1300 N. Franklin St., Christiansburg. Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. July 7, 2009 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with Father John Prinelli officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved Lawrence Bacon in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Md. In lieu of flowers, Mary Lu requested memorial contributions for a stain glass window be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 Independence Blvd., Christiansburg, VA 24073 (ATTN: Father Prinelli on behalf of Mary Lu).
