Jennis Junior (Little Man) Johnson, 78, of Bedford, Va., died on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at his home. "Little Man" leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Frances Johnson; five sisters, Josephine Jones, Irene Saunders, Betty Jean (David) Parker, Julia Casey, and Mary Lee (Rufus) Jennings; one brother, Rudolph (Bessie) Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Fred (Mary) Otey and Russell (Shirley) Otey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2009, at Longwood Ave. Baptist Church in Bedford with Pastor William Turley, eulogist. The interment will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Virginia Veteran Cemetery in Amelia, Va., with Military Honors.
