Gary Richards Obituary

Gary William Richards, 52, of Christiansburg, Va., and Roanoke, Va., passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his father, James W. Richards; and his mother, Katherine Neece. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Scott Lentner, of Christiansburg; sister, Sandy Sawyers, of Riner; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and David Yopp, of Riner; brother, David Neece, of Christiansburg; three nieces; three nephews; his special family at Restin South; and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at The Crossing Foursquare Church, 402 Colorado Street, Salem, Va. 24153 with the Rev. Jay Robinette officiating. In lieu of flowers, the Richards' family wishes donations to be sent to Feed the Children, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73101. The Richards family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, Va. Online condolences may be sent to hornefuneralservice.com.
