A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

Mark and Brian and family,
I just want you to know that I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Juanita, yet I know that she is happy with mama and Uncle Jack and all the other family that so awaited her arriving. I do know all the mixed emotions that you are going through right now. It is hard to give them up,even when you know it is for the best, it is still very, very hard!!!!! God will get us through it. I wish I could have been there for you all, but I physically couldn't be. You all being there for me when mama passed away, meant everything to me. I do want you to know that you are in my prayers, and I am with you in heart and spirit. I have wonderful memories of the last time I spent the day with them both. If I can do or help you in anyway, please contact me by phone or e-mail.
Give my love to all and I hope to see you soon!!!!
Love Always,
Your Cousin Pam

Brian and Mark,
We're so sorry to hear about Juanita's passing. The 3 of us "Linkous girls" used to love when she and your dad babysat us. Your parents will always hold a special place in our hearts. We did not know of Jack's passing until after his funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mark and Brian,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom yesterday. I really hate that I will not be able to attend the funeral on Friday. I will not be back in town until about 4:00 pm.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
